We have gotten quite a few people who have asked us, “How can my business get on the front cover of your newsletter”. Pretty good question, especially since our front cover companies get to enjoy quite a bit of coverage. We distribute 1,500-2,000 full-color newsletters to the small business community. The selected story is also placed on our interactive newsletter, and has a permanent page on our website.
Ready to get started? So, here is the low-down.
If you are already a client of the SBDC, skip down to STEP 2.
STEP 1: Sign Up as a Client
The clients that we feature on our newsletters are clients of the SBDC (Small Business Development Center) or PTAC (Procurement Technical Assistance Center). You don’t have to pay a red cent to be a client or to talk to our business advisors, you simply have to register and get assigned to a counselor.
STEP 2: Let Us Help You Be Successful
All of the companies that we recognize have recently experienced success…and we helped. This might mean that an individual has finally started their business, purchased a new business or experienced growth within their company.
We can help your company in various ways:
Free and confidential counseling from a business advisor (they can also guide you in planning your business, sales forecasting, gathering marketing research, and so much more).
Workshops. We hold over 90 small business seminars each year and also have FREE online training available at your convenience.
Government Contracting. PTAC can help you land contracts with governmental agencies such as the City of Corpus Christi, the Army Depot and hundreds of other organizations.
STEP 3: Let Us Know
In all the excitement, many of our clients simply forget to tell us that they have started their business or experienced growth as a result of our assistance. If you’d like to be considered for our front cover, please shoot an email to email@example.com (subject line: Success Story Submission). Provide us with a picture(s) that we can use, tell us your success story and let us know how we helped.
*We will need you to fill a brief form, giving us permission to tell your story and use your picture.
